The Tuck Inn’s Guest Book: we hope you enjoy what visitors had to say of their Cape Ann experience with us in Rockport, MA!

The Tuck Inn’s Guest Book: we hope you enjoy what visitors had to say of their Cape Ann experience with us in Rockport, MA!Prior to our purchase of The Tuck Inn in 1991, whenever we traveled, we always made it a point to read any comments made in an inns’ guest book. We found some comments were absolutely hilarious and others were pretty sobering, but many were informative and quite helpful to us during our stay. Over the years, our visitors have likewise appreciated the comments made regarding Cape Ann or Rockport, MA in our inns’ room books. This electronic guest book is a natural progression of our popular room books. We trust you will find this to be equally as interesting and helpful to you too. Enjoy!

If you’d like us to include your comments, please e-mail us at: info@tuckinn.com. (send us a photo and we'll include that too!)

Wake up to the smell of freshly baked bread wafting through the rooms. Now sit back and have a good read!

  • We’ve sure started the year right – by coming back here. Whatever “it” is, you’ve got it! From the delicious smells and tastes to the readiness to help – without being intrusive. We wouldn’t dream of staying anyplace else in Rockport. Only wish we’d been around to witness Scott’s dance debut with (Alice & “Wildest Dreams”.) Happy New Year to All!

  • Dear Liz & Scott,
What can we say that has not already been said – Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. You are both great hosts. Room clean, comfortable, warm. Scott’s baking wonderfully evokes lots of childhood memories. We wish you both much continued success. Hope to be back in the future.

  • Dear Liz & Scott:
Thanks again for a wonderful stay in this my “home away from home”. I enjoyed staying in this lovely spacious – a nice treat for a single person – and well – appointed room! As always, Scott’s melt-in-the-mouth breakfast goodies were scrumptious! Too bad I was working on a cold while here, but perhaps it was a good thing – forced me to rest, which I sorely needed after my busy singing season! Again Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! I hope to see you in the summer! Love as always.
    Jane, Mansfield, CT 12/04
  • Scott & Liz,

  • We serve an assortment of 5-7 baked goods, cearl, juice, applesauce, and more each morning.Bruce & I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day getaway at The Tuck inn B&B. This is our first experience at a B&B. It was great! The room is lovely, the bed so comfortable and Bruce really enjoyed the baked goods at breakfast. And, most important, is your hospitality – you are both so warm & friendly. We really enjoyed Rockport (also a first time). This location is beautiful. It was a real treat to walk around the area. Bruce and I plan to return – hopefully in April, but definitely for our wedding anniv. Next November.

So comfortable, clean and friendly – calling us by name even as we arrived! Thanks for the directions and advice which was so helpful. And of course that smell from the kitchen each A.M. helped us anticipate a wonderful breakfast and we were certainly not disappointed on that score!

  • Our second time at the Tuck Inn – even sweeter this time than before, despite rainy, cold weather… a lovely beautifully decorated room with every detail contributing to its’ beauty and comfort; Tom’s toothpaste (!!); stunning original artwork everywhere; scrumptious breakfast (oh, those apricot scone–lets!!); the luxury of a blazing morning fire; but the best part was getting to know our kind innkeepers Liz & Scott a little better – how blessed we are to have met them! See you again –
    Carol & Victor, 10/04
