Every Cape Ann Inn or B&B is unique and offers some special characteristics or amenities. At the Tuck Inn in Rockport, MA, we proudly stress gracious hospitality, a hearty home-made breakfast, comfortable well-appointed room accommodations, and an exceptional level of service that we have come to be recognized for throughout Cape Ann.

We are also somewhat unique in that we are one of the few Cape Ann Inns that are open for most of the holidays. With that in mind, in addition to visiting us for vacations, we also hope that you will consider spending your holidays with us as well.

Location, Location, Location

Parking in Rockport can be difficult. From our inn, guests can walk to the village center in 5 minutes and the train station, (which is a handy 3 blocks away) in about 12 minutes. Guests can also walk to 3 beaches along with a multitude of art galleries, restaurants, numerous shops, ice cream and coffee shops, and in particular our new Rockport Music Performing Arts Center. In spite of our proximity to the town center, the inn is located in a quiet residential area, and you will enjoy a restful and relaxing getaway while staying with us.

Guest Rooms

Every guest room is decorated with antiques, quilts and local artwork, and they are all equipped with C/C TVs, A/C, and AM/FM alarm clock radios. Every guest room also has a private bathroom located "en-suite", including a hair dryer for your comfort. Please note that The Tuck Inn (like most Bed and Breakfasts on Cape Ann) is non-smoking, and we do not allow pets.

Internet Access & Guest Computer Desk

Most of our guest rooms have wireless internet access which is available to you free of charge. In addition we have installed a common terminal in our living room for those guests who do not have "WIFI".

Parking

On-site, we have enough parking to accommodate one car per room. We suggest that given our proximity to the village that, "You could give your car a vacation too while here". Additionally, if you are a walker, you will discover that a car is not really a necessity while here, as you can experience the bulk of the town on-foot right from the inn. However, if you do bring a car, please remember that you will need to remove your car at check-out in order to accommodate incoming guests.

Outdoor Recreation On Cape Ann

We enjoy walking, and we are pleased to share some of our favorite walks with you; including several paths through Historic Dogtown Woods, ambling through Halibut Point State Park, or taking the Atlantic Path walk. Whether you prefer the rocky coastlines, a quiet beach, wonderful gardens, unique architecture, bird watching, or observing nature, we have it all - just minutes away.

We find gardening to be therapeutic, and we have a colorful display of flowers around every corner to brighten your stay. Please note: Let us know if you see a perennial that you like which we are able to split, we love to share our flowers!
