APPLE WALNUT CAKE
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla
1/4 cup milk
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 cups peeled, chopped fresh apples
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
Cream butter and sugar until light- add eggs, beating after each addition. Stir in the vanilla and milk. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt then stir in the butter mixture. Fold in apples and walnuts. Pour into a greased & floured 9x13 pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 - 50 minutes. Cool before serving.
