CRANBERRY ORANGE COFFEE CAKE
1 cup sugar
3/4 cups butter
1 Tbs. grated orange peel
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups flour
1 1/2 tsps. baking powder
1 1/2 tsps. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
Preheat oven to 350. grease and flour 10 inch Bundt pan. Combine sugar, butter, eggs orange peel and vanilla in large bowl, then mix until creamy. In second bowl; mix, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add flour mixture to the butter mix alternately with the sour cream until batter is mixed up. Spoon one third of batter into Bundt pan, spread one half of cranberry on that layer, repeat with next third of batter, spread remainder of cranberry on that layer, and then cover with remainder of batter.
Bake at 350 for 55 to 60 minutes.
Can dust with confectionary sugar with a dash of nutmeg if desired.
