Directions to Cape Ann and Rockport, MA are straight forward as outlined below. Cape Ann is at the end of Rte#128 North and is a handy 1 hour away from Boston, MA, while Rockport, MA is located on the tip of Cape Ann. The 4 towns comprising Cape Ann are Gloucester, Essex, Manchester and Rockport, MA. Please note  on our directions that we have outlined driving directions to Rockport, MA as well as walking directions from Rockport's train station, whereas Rockport is the last stop on the commuter rail line from Boston. Lodging at the Tuck Inn is found a short 3 blocks from the train station in Rockport, MA on Cape Ann.

To Rockport: Follow Route 128 North to Rockport/Gloucester. In Gloucester, you will come upon 2 rotaries (also known as roundabouts or traffic circles), continue straight through both rotaries. Follow the signs toward Rockport past the second rotary, to the first traffic light. This is Route 127 North, (Eastern Avenue.) Turn left onto Route 127 and follow for 2.8 miles. Turn right onto High Street, follow for 1/2 mile -- The Tuck Inn (17 High Street) is on your right. Look for our sign.

Travel Note: Routes 128 and 95 are the same highway from southern Mass. towards the North until Peabody, MA. In Peabody, Route 95 branches off to the right towards New Hampshire. Route 128 goes straight at this point, (this is Exit #45.) You must stay on Route 128.

VIA Route 95 North: Follow directions to Rockport above.

VIA Route 95 South: From New Hampshire, follow Route 95 South to Exit #54 in Georgetown, MA. This is Route 133 East, go left at top of off-ramp and follow Route 133 East through Rowley, Ipswich and Essex to Gloucester where there is an on-ramp to Route 128 North. Follow directions to Rockport above.

VIA Route 93 North: From Boston, follow Route 93 North to Exit #37A onto Route 128/95 North. Follow directions to Rockport above.

VIA Route 93 South: From New Hampshire, follow Route 93 South to exit 37A onto Route 128/95 North. Follow directions to Rockport above.

VIA Route 90 East (Mass Turnpike): Follow Route 90 East to Exit #14 onto Route 128/95 North. Follow directions to Rockport above.

To arrive by train, follow the directions below. (click here for a walking map from the train station).

Take a taxi, public transportation (the "T") or walk to North Station in Boston. Trains leave regularly to Rockport. Once in Rockport, go right onto Railroad Avenue, (in front of Dunkin Donuts), follow for one block to 5 Corners (5 intersecting streets). Take your second left at 5 Corners onto Broadway. Follow Broadway for one block, take a right onto Broadway Avenue (Beaton Real Estate is on this corner.) Follow for one block to High Street. Turn left onto High Street. We are 4 doors down on the right. Look for our sign. This is about a 12 minute walk. (Click here for walking map from the train station. )

If arriving by plane, follow the directions below. (Limo services can be prearranged.)

From Logan Airport: If driving, go right off the airport exit road onto Route 1A North. Follow for 3 miles to Route 60 West. Follow Route 60 to Route 1 North (in Saugus). Follow Route 1 North to exit onto Route 128/95 North. Follow directions to Rockport above.
(If coming by train from Logan, take the "T" to North Station & follow directions above.)

From Manchester, NH Airport: Take a right at the bottom of the airport exit road, onto Route 293 South/101 East, following signs to Route 93 South. Turn right onto Route 93 South and follow directions via Route 93 South above.
